Knight Frank manages the business suites. Oswald Nyakunika, a managing partner at Knight Frank, told Southern Eye Business that they had taken their time to select the best tenants.
“The building is 98% let and that is because we have taken time in choosing the best tenants,” he said.
“It just goes to emphasise that we were correct in coming up with flexible letting space that suits all requirements. This is what Bulawayo needs.”
The refurbishment of Princess Court, which is adjacent to the Bulawayo Centre shopping mall, started over a decade ago.
The project entailed the redevelopment of Princes Business Suites, previously a block of flats, which would be linked to the original Bulawayo Centre shopping mall along Fort Street.

According to Knight Frank, the project was aimed at providing a one-stop shopping centre for the city in a bid to change shopping patterns for Bulawayo shoppers who were used to driving from one shop to the other.
The development was in three phases. The first phase took three years and was completed in 1997.
It comprised 55 shops on two levels and business suites on three levels.
Thereafter, Knight Frank embarked on the second phase of the project which involved the refurbishment and redevelopment of Princess Court into several shops and business suites.
Knight Frank has been operating in Zimbabwe’s property markets for over 30 years.
