Nehanda Nyakasikana are third on the log table with 54 points from 28 games although they are still to play 12 games.

A win in all their games would see the Harare side finishing the season on 78 points. Defending champions ZDF Queens are top of the log table with 65 points from 35 games.

If ZDF Queens win their last five games of the season their tally will be 75 points. ZDF Queens have won 32 games, lost once and drew once while Nehanda Nyakasikana have played 28, winning 27 with one loss so far.

Nehanda Nyakasikana and ZDF Queens have performed well in the league as they are the only teams that have lost once to date.

Zimpost are second on the log table with 54 points from 37 games.

However, they could lose the second slot depending on how Nehanda Nyakasikana and Tenax perform in the next matches.

Zimpost have three games remaining while Nehanda Nyakasikana and Tenax have 12 and nine games left respectively.

A win in the last three matches would take Zimpost to 60 points.

Support Unit, Mutare Polytechnic, ZRP Midlands and Jumbo Stars occupy the bottom slots in the league.

It has been a struggle for bottom-placed Jumbo Stars as they only won three matches from 28 outings while second from the bottom-placed ZRP Midlands have only won three from 30 matches.

If four teams are going to be demoted as is the norm, then these four could lose their slots in the league.

Corn Gold Mara (Midlands), Jumbo Stars (Bulawayo), Warthog and Support Unit (Harare) were promoted to the league early this year.
