The Tshwane team are on course for a second successive Q-award, having scooped the Q2 prize a couple of months ago. The Q-Innovation Quarter One (Q1) were Bidvest Wits.

Kaizer Chiefs though will also have their targets set on the Q3 prize of R1.5 million, AmaKhosi second on the standings with 10 points after three wins and a draw, having netted seven goals while conceding three.

Ajax Cape Town, Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United all have seven points in the Q3.

Making up the top eight are Black Aces and Polokwane City, both with six points, while ninth placed Chippa United have the same number of points, but an inferior goal difference.

BidVest Wits are 10th (4 points), followed by Jomo Cosmos (4 points), and Golden Arrows (3 points).

The teams lying 14th, 15th and 16th respectively on the Q3 standings: Maritzburg United, Free State Stars and AmaTuks, all have only one point each.
