AFRICAN technology solutions company, ETS Innovation, has revealed plans to establish a delivery centre in Zimbabwe, housing technical expertise and serving as a hub for innovation.
The company announced its entry to the Zimbabwe market yesterday.
Speaking at the launch, ETS Group chairperson Zandi Mbele emphasised the company’s long-term vision, saying: “We are not just opening an office or establishing a footprint in another geography — we are opening doors to opportunity.
“We remain committed to sustainable growth, skills development and creating opportunities that empower communities across the continent.
“ETS is about empowering Africa through technology — driven by purpose, powered by people.”
Added Mbele: “We are intentional about solving African problems with African solutions.
“The continent’s challenges require context-specific approaches and we are focused on co-creating solutions that respond to local realities.”
ETS Group chief executive Denis Naidoo underscored Zimbabwe’s readiness for digital transformation, noting its unique position to bypass outdated technologies and rapidly adopt cutting-edge solutions like artificial intelligence, machine learning and cloud computing.

“We aim to enhance the Zimbabwean government’s digital transformation agenda,” he said.
“Countries like Zimbabwe can leapfrog legacy systems and modernise quickly, improving citizen services and infrastructure.”
The company has partnered global tech leaders such as Oracle, Microsoft, Hitachi and Pure Storage, but Naidoo stressed that the real value lies in integrating these technologies to address local needs.
“We are heavily invested in ensuring that the talent to fix Africa’s problems resides right here — in Africa,” Naidoo said.
“From cybersecurity and data analytics to AI and cloud computing — we are bringing these capabilities to Zimbabwe.
“But most importantly, we are investing in youth empowerment because Africa’s problems will be solved by Africans.”
Wallen Mangere, ETS director, said a key focus would be youth empowerment through graduate trainee programmes, in collaboration with local universities.
“We will hire tech graduates, provide industry training, certify them in leading technologies, and prepare them for the job market,” Mangere said.
“As our business grows, so will employment opportunities.”
With a strong emphasis on local talent and innovation, ETS Group’s expansion signals a growing trend of Africa-led tech solutions tailored to the continent’s unique challenges.
