A PRESIDENTIAL revolving fund for informal traders that was unveiled in Bulawayo last week and will only benefit Zanu PF card carrying members, it has been established.
Presidential special advisor, Paul Tungwarara, launched the US$200 000 revolving fund at the National University of Science and Technology last Wednesday.
The event was part of the Zanu PF Bulawayo Province leadership success series hosted by Young Women 4ED.
Vendors 4ED leader, Samora Chisvo, said the fund will benefit only Zanu PF card carrying members.
"It's a revolving fund to be distributed across all provinces and it will be parcelled to vendors loyal to the party,” Chisvo said.
“The vendors will return the money on zero interest and they must be registered voters and card carrying members and those who are wishing to join Zanu PF are also eligible to the fund.”
Chisvo said the Vendors 4ED were grateful for the empowerment fund.
“It's testament that our leader is a listening president and true to his words we are being empowered," he said.
