Phumuzani Mkandla was warned not to be in the radius of 50 kilometres from Mabuledi village in court sometime in April following his arrest for a suspected murder case.
Prosecutor Sheila Nyathi said on September 21 around 10 pm, Mkandla arrived at the same village where he was prohibited by the court and assaulted Zwelenthini Ncube.
The magistrate Joshua Nembaware remanded Nkandla to October 8 in custody.
