After an impressive 2024 season that saw him ranked among the country’s best midfielders at the time, former Highlanders playmaker McKinnon Mushore went on to endure a difficult campaign last season, struggling for form before securing a loan move to Simba Bhora.
However, the switch to the Shamva-based side did not quite live up to expectations.
Despite working under Joel Luphahla, a coach believed to be familiar with the Mushore brothers, McKinnon and Mason, having reportedly brought them to Bosso during his stint as an assistant, Mushore failed to fully rediscover his best form.
Now, Mushore has once again reunited with Luphahla, this time at FC Platinum on loan again, raising fresh questions about whether the upcoming season could mark a revival or rejuvenation of his career.
The talent has never been in doubt, the boy has so much potential.
The stage is set.
