[two_fifth]A PERVERT from Sotshangani Flats in Mzilikazi has been convicted for indecent assault after he fondled the breasts and private parts of a Form One girl who was in school uniform.

Eugene Mhlanga (28) pleaded guilty to the charge of indecent assault when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Abednico Ndebele who convicted and remanded him to February 4 for sentencing.
The court heard that on January 27 this year at about 10pm, Mhlanga went to the neighbouring house where the girl stays and found her in the kitchen still wearing her school uniform.
He then inserted his hand in between the top buttons of her uniform and fondled her breasts and then fondled her private parts several times.
A report was made to the police, leading to his arrest.
In his plea of guilty, Mhlanga said: “I am ashamed of what I did and I am quite remorseful about it. I would like to apologise to the complainant and her parents and the court for what I did.”
When the magistrate asked him why he did that, Mhlanga responded: “I do not know what had come over me.”
