A FORT RIXON man has been remanded in custody for the alleged murder of a man he found sleeping with his wife in their matrimonial bedroom.
STAFF REPORTER Fanuel Ncube (37) of Pioneer Village 3 was not asked to plead to murder when he appeared before Bulawayo magistrate Gladmore Mushove on Monday and was remanded to February 24.
Prosecutor Tafadzwa Mutsambiwa told the court that Ncube was arrested last week on February 6 for allegedly battering and spearing Ndabezinhle Sibanda to death after finding him sleeping with his wife.
The prosecutor said Ncube was incensed after going home and finding Sibanda in his bedroom with his wife on February 5.
Mutsambiwa said Ncube then armed himself with a knobkerrie and a spear and attacked Sibanda leading to his death.A report was made to the police and Ncube was arrested at his homestead the following day.
